The Cochran AP/AR Specialist is responsible for maintaining both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records by performing the following duties.
The following are the duties associated with being a Cochran AP/AR Specialist
1. Process and post daily receipts (includes credit card deposits, direct deposits, paper checks, and cash).
2. Process and post accounts payable invoices daily. Resolve & process problem invoices. 
3. Maintain electronic filing of all documents including daily AR and AP records. 
4. Reporting - Generate reports for various accounting systems. Run daily and end-of-month reports as required. 
5. Resolve both external and internal customer inquiries and discrepancies. 
6. Update, verify and request current resale certificates as needed. Contribute to audit preparation by providing   requested documentation and analysis. 
7. Support and back up receptionist as needed.
8. Support and back up collections activities as needed (making calls and coordinating communications with both internal and external customers to resolve issues).
9. Support and back up document management as needed (scanning invoices and other documents).
10. Other duties and projects as assigned.

* Education/Experience - Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
