Cochran, a leader in the Electrical Construction industry is looking for a highly motivated, dependable candidate to fill our Project Coordinator position within our Marine division at our corporate office in Seattle. The Salary Range for this position is $52,000-$70,720.

The Cochran Project Coordinator – Marine supports and maintains Marine operations as described below.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The following are the duties associated with being a Cochran Project Coordinator.  Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  1. Preparation of monthly billings including; additional billings, change orders and ensuring that such billings are completed and correctly billed.
  2. Oversee the inputs into the Viewpoint system, as required i.e. contract values, estimates, phase codes, change orders.
  3. Request new jobs and maintain / update job folders using the Cochran Marine folder template.
  4. Manage jobs in software programs; Viewpoint & Project Executive
  5. Prepare and answer emails and traditional correspondence with customers, potential customers and other relevant third parties.
  6. Create weekly A/R reports and follow-up with customers to assist with collections of past due A/R accounts.
  7. Work with the AP department for the following tasks;
  • Prepare and review AP Check runs. Assign job / PO numbers to invoices, if needed along with raising PO’s, if needed.
  • Customer invoices
  • New Customer set-up
  • Job cost transfers
  • Credit card expense reports
  1. Assist Accounts Receivable, as necessary.
  2. Prepare jobs to be closed out.
  3. Generate new PO’s with the purchasing department and increase or close PO’s when necessary.
  4. Prepare and format proposals per direction of PM utilizing Marine templates.
  5. Review and send out daily connection reports to Port Officials and Cruise Line personnel accordingly.
  6. Build and manage shore power connection schedules for all sites.
  7. Handle connection schedules with sub-contractors.
  8. Maintain Marine’s database and manage any new development processes as they come.
  9. Develop and send out the year end reports to the Cruise Lines.
  10. Maintain Cochran Marine’s master calendar with the following information;
  • Track added or cancelled calls
  • Enter in labor hours / sub rates
  • Billed amount for the month
  • Connection notes, if any.
  1. Perform ship / Cruise Line research, when needed.
  2. Maintain the Cochran Marine Cruise Line poster.
  3. Assist the PM with O/U monthly task.
  4. Assist the department with marketing efforts
  5. Fill out prelim information for new jobs, when needed.
  6. Send out certificates of insurance, when needed.
  7. Manage documents to ensure filing is completed in the correct folders, the latest Cochran Marine logo / format template is being used and documents reviewed before sent out.
  8. Demonstrate flexibility when performing job duties whenever volume and requests for services require. Ability to pitch in where necessary.
  9. Represent Cochran Marine with the highest of professional standards to all of our partners and customers.
  10. Reliable and regular attendance and availability during core business hours.
  11. Responsiveness to department, team and customers.
  12. Ability to implement a team oriented philosophy and approach when dealing with projects, co-workers and customers.

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability
